It’s a pretty blindingly simple design — the Amron Experimental toothbrush has a little groove on the back that directs water from the tap into your mouth. I’m not sure how many people picked one up at the original price — or what’s so experimental about this thing — but if some sucker actually shelled out nearly two grand for this thing, I bet he’s pretty ticked now.
Check out the video above for a full demonstration, complete with unnecessarily dramatic music!
Thanks, George!

What’s wrong with the way you’ve rinsed for years?
Even if you’re caught in some devastatingly cup-free wildnerness, can’t you just cup your hands?
Besides, whose going to want to use the thing after it fills with mold?

I guess it’s no more likely fill with mould than the bristles are, and I think it’s more for the novelty of it than any real practicality. Though I guess it might be neat — in that backwards cup-free bastion you describe — to be able to keep your hands dry. What if it’s cold?
