Now there’s something you don’t read every day.

Ben Weider, the only person ever to be president of both the International Federation of Bodybuilders and the International Napoleonic Society, died yesterday in Montreal.
For his contributions to fitness, philanthropy and the study of history, Weider was made an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Knight of the National Order of Quebec, Commander of the Venerable Order of St. John of Jerusalem, and an Honorary Colonel in the Canadian armed forces, and received the French Legion of Honor as well. He was even nominated for the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize for promoting peace through sport, and is credited with discovering Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Wikipedia says that “in Napoleonic circles, Weider was known as a forceful advocate of the theory that Napoleon was assassinated by a member of his entourage during his exile in Saint Helena,” and he even co-wrote a book to drive home his point.
So how many other Nobel-nominated body-builder Napoleonic historians do you know of?
